As you may know, I LOVE Taylor Swift. After an amazing experience at her Red Tour last year, where we were upgraded to front row, we just HAD to make sure that we saw her again. So as soon as she released her UK 1989 Tour dates we snapped up tickets straight away. She was INCREDIBLE. BST Hyde Park, is a perfect setting. It’s like a mini festival but only for the day without the faf of camping.
The best thing about Taylor is that she really does know how to put on a show. With a turn out of 65,000 she had everyone on their feet. Upon arrival you are given wristbands that flash in time with her music, a perfect way to feel involved and connected with the show. Taylor concerts are always uplifting, there are always motivating speeches in-between songs. Reminding you how important and beautiful you are. She connects with you on a personal level and leaves you feeling upbeat, motivated and all warm and fuzzy inside.
Of course I took my camera with me (even my telezoom lens), meaning that despite not having a great view, I did have some opportunity to get some good shots in.
So if you are ever thinking about seeing a Taylor Swift concert, DEFINITELY go for it. It’s an experience of a lifetime.
